So I just bought this phone, and its got a really nice user interface to it and everything but damn, why do I have to log on to the internet to use something so simple like the calender function!?!? Why is it not built into the OS natively!?

And something so simple that we'v been taking for granted in the pre smart phones ... file sending/recieving over bluetooth! Why is do you have to download an app to use everything that you would assume is built into the android OS natively!?

They'v gotten way ahead of themselves and forgot about the basics!

You sure? Calenders on all android phones I've tried including the X10 ask for an optional google account sync. The X10 for example allows you to use the SE sync system.

As Spawn said, why not use the X10 thread. Furthermore, I have no idea what you are on about. I don't have to be on the internet to use the calendar nor do I have to download an app to BT files to and from my computer/phones
