SETTING THE GSX1000 for optimal sound

I need your advice on how to set up my newly bought GSX1000 (paired with GSP 500)

mainly play CS:GO but also listen to music for the rest of the day,

so I need the best configurations for CS, and also for music (Windows settings & on the GSX itself)


***also, do I need to disable on-board sound before connecting and installing drivers for the GSX? (coming from using PC360+phoebus solo I remember thats what I did on my last PC right after connecting the soundcard)

(using Lenovo Y540 if anything..)

You dont need to disable onboard sound, just make GSX 1000 Main Speakers your default output, and GSX 1000 Mic your main input. Make sure its set to 48khz and 7.1
