yeah I don't understand the love of pukka pies. There no different to other mashed up rubbish.

 

There isnt an alternative to pukka pies...pukka pies are the daddy and always will be

 

Shire pies, simply because theyre to closest to me lol. Pukka pies can range from being good to vomit enducing.

 

They must have differing amounts of hoof and testicles if they taste different, but im not going to try so won't find out, ill leave it to others and take their word for it .

Agreed, never heard of any of them. Are they quite local to certain bits of England only? Bells pies aren't bad for packet ones but I don't really bother with pies unless they are from the butcher.

 

Pukka Pies are horrible nothing special about them,the average local baker can do better.

I had a Pukka Pie 2 days ago... the lid pretty much blew off the top when I opened the paper (from chippy). The stuff inside wasn't pretty to look at so I had to put the lid back on and not think about it! It tasted good... whatever it was.

Homemade is infinitely better.
