    Hi guys,

Currently I have an early model LG 37" LCD. It does the job fine but I do probably sit about 10ft away from it at least. A friend at work is selling his 50" Pioneer plasma with media box (504 xde), it's an old screen but supposed to be excellent. Would this be a worthwhile upgrade apart from the obvious size increase?
    Thanks,

    sKiBa

You know you want to, it'll be a blast!

Anyway, there's no such thing as a plasma that's too big:D

    380W on the latest 5090.

How old is the 504? I guess it is from 2004?!

    Thats the biggest issue

I used to think my 5090 was immense when I first got it, now I think whats that pokey little thing in the corner :D

(the upgrades get much more expensive each time also which really hurts )

Were talking about the 504 though, its probably not as good as say the Panasonic TX-P50X10B which is only £600 brand new online

True but I was comparing it to his LG 37" LCD.

    Depends how much for.

<£350 I'd do it. Otherwise as stated above you can get the latest entry level Panasonic that will vastly outperform it.
