Would I notice a big difference in this upgrade. I currently play games like WoW, L4D2, Dragon Age and Empire TW. I recently got Napoleon TW and my pc is really struggerling in mid-large battles and slow down in Dragon Age

    Current
    Intel Core 2 Quad Q8200 2.33ghz
    4GB RAM ddr2
    Geforce 9800 GT
    450watt

    Future

    Intel Core i5 750 2.66GHz
    Kingston 4GB (2x2GB) DDR3 1600MHz
    OCZ ModXStream 600W PSU
    Samsung HD103SJ Spinpoint F3 1TB Hard Drive

I'm gonna hold on to the 9800gt until I have enough for the 5850

Think the general advice is that if you can overclock your processor you should upgrade to the 5850 instead of buying other components first.

edit: hmm seems that you need 500 watts for that card

As long as your psu is a quality one then it should be fine running a 5850, with your current spec.

Ah yes that wold save alot of money :) though I'll need to buy a new case as the last time It didn't fit a dual slot GPU.

Also I read a while ago that my current CPU wasn't great and difficult to OC, could anyone guide me where to go for help.

    Thank you.
