Maybes , but i remember i comment that i was with at the time to say something about that spacing on the plates that twigged my memory.

Last time i went to southampton was when i was 17 and didnt drive at the time. Also its the first time i have used that spacing on my private plate.

Lovely colour, though IMO would look better with silver wheels.

It does look good with silver wheels, but the grey ones come with the style pack (the car was in stock) and I fancied a change from the silver ones on my old car (parked behind it in the last pic).
Pretty much every year they revised the wheel colour for cars with the style pack and made them darker.

Until this week I was very much a 'Estoril Blue or nothing' but then i saw a 4 series in this white with black grills, and it looked incredible. So will be changing mine to black grilles, but even without I think it's stunning

That 340i makes me sad, its got a great engine and some good spec, but because its white it just looks... Well, like a base spec lease car, or a company car for the people who don't get the 5 series'.

I really don't get the hatred for white. It wouldn't be my first choice of colour but it looks pretty smart on most cars.

I just find it odd. My first car was white, and it was white because it was poverty spec, and white was free.
Now it's somehow seen as cool, but I'll always see it as a bit... cheap. I don't think it looks that great on most cars at all, obviously there are exceptions.
