In acme's chair.
Ah yes, everyone is allowed an opinion apart from me. :)

In my opinion... The height of the steering wheel, the standalone screen in the middle, and the other screen which is the cluster, and the fact that they are different distances from you and in little pods, and the general shape of the steering wheel etc, just makes it look clumsy.

The centre console is nice though.

3008 is french so all those buttons and new things will be broken next week :p.

tbh i drove a 308 with same kind of interior and tbh it felt pretty solid. still sounds and goes like a diesel french car though.

That Peugeot interior looks really cramped and claustrophobic: wheel looks odd and like it's blocking vision of the speedo etc. Wasn't that a problem mentioned on reviews of the 208 and 306 Gti?

I test drove the 2008 and the natural position of the steering wheel despite being very small still got in the way of the dials. I lowered it but it then felt uncomfortable to drive with. That really annoyed me. Not sure if the 3008 is different!

Just took this out for a spin, mates new 911, still being run in so couldn't get any real idea on performance although I was sorely tempted to nail it :p

Having owned a 997 it's pleasant to see and appreciate how much progress has and hasn't been made, the interior whilst vastly updated is still oddly similar, the heptic feedback touchscreen seems quite awesome and I still love their steering wheels!

Yummy car, 1200 miles and counting till we can give it some :D

Very different I have to say having sat in a 2008. The 3008 does have a high centre console but as there's less appearance of buttons it doesn't feel cluttered. For me, I see over the top but I suspect that the design is a marmite design; either it works and you like it or not :D

That 911 could do with movement of all the non-driving (air con etc) into a single screen. They need a zen edition! OLED screen on the dash would also be great - you could record and demonstrate all the track data :)
