E46 M3's still looks brilliant, gorgeous cars. I'd love to own one one day as a weekend/track car but the window for finding a good one is getting smaller and smaller, and I don't have the patience or skills to spend money on a shed

My new daily. 2014 F10 530d M Sport with auto, pro nav and some other things I don't understand.

Picked her up just over an hour ago.

The old Focus looking sorry for herself.

The F10 is a beast, barely fit her in front of the house.

I really need to look at putting the Integra into the garage so I can park this in its place.

Initial impressions are that this is the most comfortable, luxurious and easy to drive car that I have ever driven. I love the engine as well, it's really smooth and packs a punch. It will be much nicer commuting in this. Things I don't like are the slightly vague steering feel around centre in comfort mode and the Bridgestone Turanza tyres (run flats I presume) seem incredibly stiff and easy to break away. Or perhaps I should remember I'm driving an 1800 kg car and not my DC5. :D

Haha, how did you know that? Pretty well spec'd, comfort seats, pro nav, comfort access, HUD, adaptive lights.

Little sensor beside the side repeater :D

Have to admit the diesel engine is rather good (535d), never thought I'd hear myself say that!!

It's a 535?! Nice - you realise by removing the chrome from the door handles you've made it look like a 520d? Only the 4 pot diesels come without the chrome as standard :D

Did some Evo Triangle today, great day for a blast around Wales. Nothing silly, but enjoyable run out.

I have also just come back from a trip around Wales. Stunning scenery, wonderful roads, beautiful towns. Thoroughly enjoyed it and the 530 was a wonderful tool for the job. Sipped fuel at 50mpg on the way there and back and despite its size was a real joy on the smooth Welsh tarmac. North Wales is stunning - but Mid Wales was a surprise, too!

This will be mine on Saturday haha.

It can't all be about tuned Volvos and old Mercs, (I have juct picked up another Volvo 850 mind you) sometimes you need 550cc's of awesomeness to have a giggle.

Bike engine in the future I feel, given it does around 58 mph downhill.

Surprised there aren't more of them, all over the place here in Japan!

Only other things more common are the perfectly square cars that would give an 80's Volvo designer a warm fuzzy feeling

was a real joy on the smooth Welsh tarmac. North Wales is stunning - but Mid Wales was a surprise, too!

Lots of resurfacing and other improvements going on at the moment making it even better. Been from North coast to Brecon-ish a few times in the last couple of months via various combinations of roads and whilst there have been 10+ sets of roadworks on the way the new bits are fantastic.
