I love your S2000 more every time I see it. You can run any wheels you want baby.
Black wheel crew checking in.
Oh go on then, more black wheels.
Yellow simply looks far better with a dark wheel colour and is certainly what I prefer and though a gunmetal / dark grey would also work with yellow it would not work for me or my car due to the black roof the car has.
Plus the wheel design is quite visible in photos which really do not compare to real life or what the human eye picks up.
So enjoy the black wheels or hate them, they going nowhere!
@Gibbo are those rear calipers 6 pots? Can you get a closer pic if they are please?
I've no idea sorry but my assumption would be front are 6 and rears are 4 they are just quite oversized, of course a good thing as it stops well and looks good.
Dark yes, gunmetal or anthracite or something. Black no.
This picture illustrates perfectly that it just ruins the lines and the flow of an otherwise achingly beautiful car.
Each to their own and all that, though!
Ghastly. Anthracite works, contrasts the lighter or vibrant colours without detracting from the aesthetics. Black never works, however.
Bit of a blanket statement. Anthracite wouldn't work in this case, not with a black roof.
Sure it would.
I had satin black wheels on the GT4 which was yellow. Looked good in person but definitely lost detail, I’d have preferred gun metal. In pictures it’s tough to see the wheels.
My NSX has dark gun metal wheels, and a black roof. Works well IMO, though the color of the car is less bold than the yellow.
Kind of wish I had gone for gunmetal/shadow chrome on mine. Oh well. Better than they were before.
Ive seen an all yellow Ferrari with no black roof and anthracite wheels, that worked fine and was same wheel design and for sure better than black. Link below:
I’ve seen a yellow very similar to mine so black roof and it had anthracite wheels and carbon side blades and to me the car looked off:
That car is so similar to mine but I hate it something is just not right and it’s either the Matt roof, anthracite wheels or carbon sodeskits whatever it is the car simply looks fussy. Plus many others must agree as that car has been for sale for months they can’t sell it whereas my car had a queue forming to buy it.
I can also achieve dark grey wheels by just letting mine get some dirty and dust on them and I honestly prefer them black and in person to me it’s a none issue as the design can easily be seen due to how thin spokes and offset by huge disc behind them but even the Abarth has black wheels and they look fine too so maybe I’m not as offended by black wheels as others.
Bleurgh. Defo better in black.
Side skirts are ruining the contrast for me
What about white wheels. Someone needs to do a photochop imo!
But on a purple GT3 RS they look pretty damn good!
Now that does work.
I'm not sure I'm a massive fan of that style of wheels, but heck, it's a Ferrari, I'm being far too pernickety
The 458's with the carbon side skirt remind me of the EC12, although that was 458 based of course.
The pre-facelift came with body colour skirts and imo they look much worse. The black roof and skirts really pinches the whole car in and improves it’s stance / presence dramatically. Same for the Evora.
