I have had my fortress for roughly 5-6 months now and the top filter is very dusty, how do people clean their's? i cant take it put for some strange reason and a hoover doesnt suck the dust up from outside the case.

To take it out you need to remove the fan. This is the only design issue with the fortress. I would've thought the hoover would lift it though.

Only alternative I can think of is blowing compressed air from the inside of the case.

How exactly can i take the fan out of the case without having to remove my noctua cooler, there is very little room. Have you done this before?

All I can think off is blow upwards, whilst hoovering whatever flies off.

You can get it out without having to take the heatsink off. You can slide it forward once you have undone the two screws and then you should be able to maneuver it out. I find it fiddly myself but it is possible.
