I don't like this solution, but as the vertical line is coincident with one of the lines with the cross it can be considered to intersect it, and it does not intersect the other two as a line has no width.

Well, it would be coincident, if I wasn't using open office drawing for the very first time.

Nope. A line has no width. That's my argument and I'm sticking with it for the sake of sanity.

It goes through the intersection of the three lines, as such its not going through any at that point.

But it needs to cross, not just intersect. It's not quite the same thing. Cross means you start on one side and end up on the other.

You haven't passed through all of the X's - you are supposed to go through each x into the next square / rectangle.
