Small Single Board Computers SBC

    Iv been looking into them for a modding idea iv got

    Most of them look like the above, what does it plug into? whydoes it have soo many gold pins at the bottom?

    Anyone know? :) or got any tips?

    I need a very small motherboard.

    It must plug into a board that would normally be the mobo, it has the things to fasten it to the case

    (like how a gfx card is connected)

    tbh the smallest type of motherboard you'd find is a itx motherboard, that card is like an add-on for a server or something similar, and just looking through the website its connecting to a isa+pci bus to connect to the system. pretty old stuff compared to a small motherboard.
    how small does the board have to be?

    infact wasnt there supposed to be a cube sized pc? about 500mhz or something?

    I read somewhere that there were 3.5in motherboards and stuff, is that just a farce? If not, that would rock.

    And the ones with the pines, which plug into a motherboard then, can they be used on their own?

    T-Cube is what your after its as small as an orange, however googling it seems to come up with no able to buy products
