Are smoothies, with the right ingrediants, really as healthy as people make out?

Yeah, it's not any different from eating fruit. And your not doing anything to the fruits apart from cutting them up really finely. So your not like boiling or cooked some of the minerals out of them.

Well today I had 1 banana, 1 apple, 1 papaya, 2 apricots, 5 grapes, 5 strawberries, milk and yoghurt all in one go. Id never really eat that seperately but Im getting at least 5 portions of fruit a day... so, in answer to your question... yes :)

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... Just made my best smoothie yet.

1 bananna
half a cup of apple juice
1 plum
5 green grapes
5 red grapes
1 kiwi
Muller fruit corner (strawberry flavour)
4 ice cubes
dollop of whipped cream

talk about tasty!!

tom

Been drinking this one for a while now its very nice! :) I would suggest, to save yourself quite a bit of money and make it healthier, substitute the muller for a pot of natural yoghurt and a jar of strawberry jam ;) . I took the kiwi out too, didn't like it so much with that in.
