The end of an era they're calling it. The last frames of the last match at the Wembley Conference Centre.

    Ronnie O'Sullivan v John Higgins

I'm calling it the best game of snooker I've ever seen.

The first 3 frames and it looked like it was over. Ronnie was just astounding. Absolutely unbelievable. Breaks of 139 and 138 consecutively following the win in the first frame left him 3-0 up going into the mid-session interval. Higgins defied the odds to take the next 5 frames.

Well set up for tonight then.

Higgins got into the pack but failed to make it count with an unlucky split of the pack and a slightly loose safety shot. Racked up a 44 break and left Ronnie nothing but a very difficult long pot. Which he duly stuck in and left himself perfect on the black.

4-5 and a mouthwatering finish in prospect.

5-5 could go all the way.

Re-rack. Ronnie was very lucky not to leave the open red on.

Looks like its going to be Higgins going to the interval with a 7-5 lead. I cant see Ronnie coming back to win this. :(
