Hi all just ran through this

now I am wondering did I have my LCD scorchingly bright? Others said out of the box this screen was bright but I always ran at pretty high settings...

Now I am just not sure post-calibration it seems a lot dimmer than i am used to, is this right?! I have had one person before mention that the screen seemed too bright tho...

Well I just switched it to 'gaming' mode and now it looks awesome

Glad I did it, finally I am seeing the potential of my monitor over a year down the road lol, DOh
