I would imagine they will if Nvidia have any stock. Better to make something now....

The price will only go down especially when the X2 hits the market.

it's their best card atm so they will want as much money as they can get for it, as its quite expensive to make :)

Read somewhere the 5870 is listed at about 670 euros so around £630 lol

Although it should RUIN the 295.

Didnt AMD say $599? So far as the 295, dont see it coming down, not that I would buy one, but its still the top card, they will ride that train for as long as they can.

I saw that but it definitely seems a bit high. I'm expecting the 5870 to drop in price and the 5870x2 to come in around £450-500. Then again, we just don't know.

Or release the gtx 295 WTFP (What the **** Pricing)

You have to give Nvidia credit they keep buying sharpies permenant markers and renaming.... they're keeping the permenant marker industry alive.

They will only go down in price if nvidia have a lot of them left after the gt300 release. Doubt they will, as a lot of the card stocks have been depleting everywhere for other 200 series cards.
