Hi guys! first off im posting here as i have insufficient privileges to post in watercooling thread. okay so, i have a corsair carbide spec-01 mid tower case, i7 6700k and msi 1070 gpu. I would like a full custom loop all done by me, the only problem is i have never done it. :D Can anyone help picking the components? Not because im lazy but i really have no idea where to start, i know that i cant fit a 360 radiator, but i could fit two 240s, i have a really warm room, temperatures go high af, thanks in advance!

You need to make some decisions on your loop, in terms of whether you want to go hardline tubing or soft, that will dictate what fixings you need, sounds like you've had a thought about radiators.

Defaintely try the configurator though. Also the EK website has a "First time water cooler" section with a wizard of bits you'll need, use that too.

I'd definitely use the EK Configurator on their site. You will find buying on OCUK cheaper, but use their configurator to determine what parts you'll need. Soft tubing will definitely be less hassle for your first build than hard.

What case do you have? If you are in a really warm space, you MAY find that x2 240 rads won't quite cut it... not that it won't work, but more so for the temp/noise result. Given you're looking to spend a fair chunk of money here, it could be well worth considering a case that can house x2 360 rads (or more), as it sounds like you would really benefit from that if your room is so warm.
