I need the Sony Shared Library 2.1 or later for a mate's Vaio desktop (RX 202); I have tried Sony and google etc without success: Does anyone have a copy that they could let me have or know where to get it from?

I'm trying to install DVGate (latest version) but it keeps telling me that it can't find Shared Library 2.1 or later and therefore won't install.

    Any assistance would be appreciated.

vaio-link.com should have it. Enter the serial number and it will take you to a downloads page for that model...

Tried there, no luck. Thanks anyway.

The "pre-installed" software that I can download does include a "shared library", but it's an old version; it needs to be the 2.1 or later, which doesn't seem to be available anywhere.

That page needs a serial number thingy so can't get into newer models without a number.
Nice try though! thanks for the effort.

All sorted now, thanks to Minority; I did as you suggested and eventually came accross some utilities for another machine that contained the Shared Library that I needed. :)

Thanks very much for your help.
