Im not sure if this is a codec problem or if its just my browser and flash because a while ago i lost sound for them but it works fine for everything else, i did the usual reinstalling of drivers etc but so far no luck.

One thing i have noticed though is the sound panel in controls keeps resetting if i try to make a change but its setup ok i think, if some normal windows codec's have got messed up how can i fix them?

    Thanks for any help!

Oh well i fixed it myself by monitoring for registry changes, seems i have to sort most things I ask help for myself as i rarely get any response or useful reply's from the forums these days.

Be fair dude, You only posted 2 hours before this. Most people will not be home from work till after 6.
You could always post how you fixed the problem, then people that didn't know how to fix it could learn from it maybe.

Sadly im not surprised i get a quick response for that it's just a pity its rare when help is actually needed and yes i realise the short amount of time for this thread but i've had a fair few tougher problems before that simply go unanswered and i never ask for help without searching for hours and trying many things, im just finding these forums not a great source of help anymore.
