Currently got a couple of Dell 23" IPS which are long in the tooth.

I want to upgrade my main monitor to either a 24 or 27" (and use the dells either side) ideally 144Hz, prefer IPS but also want something decent for gaming too. It will be driven by a 2070 Super.

Cyber Monday is nearly upon us, so it would be nice to have a few suggestions in the bag, just in case something pops up!

Budget - up to £400ish

Any suggestions?

Any other suggestions?

I'm currently looking at a few:

BENQ EX2780Q - bit over budget
ASUS PG279Q - very over budget but on special
Acer Nitro XV272U - cheap, but seems to suffer a lot of glow and tearing

I'm in the same boat, looking for a 27" 1440p 144ghz IPS for gaming as well. Been reading reviews, watching videos last few days, and just cannot decide! Every site seems to have a different opinion on what the 'best' monitor is.

Gigabyte AORUS AD27QD (£435)
Pixio PX7 Prime (400)
LG 27GL850-B (£470)

Were the ones I was looking at... but every one seems to have something..eg. not the best in a dark room.

Looking for same, just upgraded all core components, now its a GPU and monitor for 1440p IPS at 144Mhz
I was looking at max £450 for a screen, £350 for card, currently gone Ryzen 3700x and thinking to pair with a 5700XT
Update here when you found something, will be interested in choice and personal review

Ive decided on the LG 27GL83A, it's basically the same as the 27GL850-B (lots of talk about it in the other LG thread). It was £330 last week compared to the 850 which was £450 (now £470), but unfortunately they are out of stock at the moment (so is the 850) so it's a waiting game right now. I recently made a new build with a 3600 and a 5700XT so a monitor is the last piece of the jigsaw!

Same here. Very impressed with the short time I've had with it (back in the box for xmas now:p).

VX2758-2KP-MHD is a cheap new-comer. It debuted at £300 so don't be fooled by any prices if you find it in stock anywhere. Rtings have a unit for review.

This page is quite a good resource.

Yuletide bump

I can't find the 27GL83A

The VX2758-2KP-MHD looks to be quite reasonable, although not many reviews out on it yet.
Another option I'm considering is the 24G2u (not to be confused with the 24G2u5) but that would mean stepping down to 1080.

Anybody got the viewsonic?
