Lass wants me to make a daw for her,which will be used with sx3,good bit of audio as she`s a singer as well.
Basically after a base unit really unless there`s some cracking deal on.
I can build the pc just want a capable rock solid platform.
Requirements
Core 2 duo (e2160 enough or spend a bit more?).Also don`t want a quad to keep price down,she can upgrade to that later maybe.
Cpu/decent fan
2gb ram at least
Running Xp os
Mobo
Basic graphics card
Case with psu
2 x 250gb hd
Dvd writer
Was thinking of say a pre made base unit but the case may not allow other hd.
If any of you guys has a nice rock solid budget system maybe you could give me an idea of how many vsts/audio channels you`re running.
I`m also checking out soundcard options as she needs to record her vocals,if you know please add that too
