Will be moving into a new flat in the next month or so and will be completely furnishing it. I want a windows based media computer for my lounge. What setups do you guys recomend? I would like HDMI outputs.

    Thanks

    How about:

To be honest you probably would be fine with 2GB of RAM if you want to save a bit more.

Also you will need to spec an optical drive (if you need one).

Is that enough to support a 50" screen surely it could do with a dual core and a HD graphics card?

I don't think the size of the screen should make any difference at all.

All that matters is whether it is able to output 1080p content which it does seem to be able to happily. See the reviews.

I think the Atom 330 is a dual core.

The only problems you might have with it is that HD flash videos are played on the cpu rather than the graphics. But I think a new version of flash is going to be released soon which will allow graphics card support so you should be fine.
