My old shuttle is really not coping well these days. I am in need of a new one. Budget is about £650 really. All I need is the following:

    graphics card
    hard drive (300gb ish)

I already have: monitor, keyboard, mouse, dvdrw.

Now I need the fastest gaming machine that money can buy me, at the moment I have a 6800gt AMD 3000+ and 1 gb ram. It really struggles in modern games. I would like to return to a place where I get 30 fps at least ;).

Here is what I roughly thought of:

    -065-SH Shuttle XPC SN21G5 Aluminium Barebones System - AMD 64 (Socket 939) (FS-065-SH)
    £184.90 £184.90
    CP-152-AM AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 3800+ (Socket 939) - OEM (CP-152-AM)
    £159.95 £159.95
    HD-096-MD Maxtor MaxLine III NCQ 300GB 7V300F0 SATA-II 16MB Cache - OEM (HD-096-MD)
    £63.95 £63.95
    Subtotal £408.80
    VAT £71.54
    Total £480.34

Although theres no graphics card there :(, I dont know about the latest cards so didnt feel ready to pick one yet :).

Dual core would be nice as I do a lot of 3D max rendering and premier and after effects etc for uni. All of which are very slow on my current set up.

Anyway, thanks for your help guys.
