Spec me places, things to do Munich

I have a short break coming up early Oct, and things have changed somewhat since the last time I went in the early 80s I suspect.

I am going with my Son 22 and it was supposed to be with my other 2 Sons, albeit due to unforeseen circumstances they have had to pull out.

If anyone could help suggest a mixture of interests for both ends of the scale I would be great full

We found the city hop-on hop-off bus tour a really good day out.
