Sprained my ankle

    I've sprained my ankle and it hurts. Anyone else done this?

    Yeah ive done it once, couldnt walk on it for a few days without it hurting. My mam tore the tendons in her leg last year and had about 4 months off work, she was in agony when she done it, but i got the pleasure of doing the housework until she could walk :(

    Yes i have sprained my ankle and yes it hurts, i got mine sorted with a visit to the physiotherapist...just looking at her awesome norks was a cure itself:p

    Mums out of action due to leg injurys for the loose, my mum broke her ankle and was off work for ages, i had to cook every day and i hate cooking :( .

    Several times on both ankles, and it hurst like heck. For me, it was always playing SPORT that I got injured the most! Volleyball is a killer on ankles, a very common injury :(
    Now I have retired from playing, never had an issue with my ankles.

    always lived by the RICE method of recouperation

    Yep.

    Playing basket ball and landed from a block on the ball My foot hit the floor at 90 degrees too.. I had a swolen, black foot too :/

    Did this about 5 years ago. My ankle is still weak.

    yes but ive found out its fractured now(got a pot on,see my last post) so its worth getting it looked at, but an ice pack and elevation should do the trick and watch out for it going over again
