Well she's right, they don't have anything, all extended universe stuff belongs to competent writers that Disney would have to pay royalties, to use and they would probably have to pay through the nose after smiting them all by saying it's no longer canon

They would still have had to pay someone and could have done better job.

Definitely going to be the worse SW ever. Who charges with horses, or on foot, on the surface of a spaceship in space? Air? Temperature? Pressure? Physics out of the window.

Let alone that
all these star destroyers are from the Empire, which Palpatine left to implode!, because according to the latest screening, his clone died at the Return of the Jedi, so was alive and well!!!!!!

This is beyond stupidity and anyone goes and supports this sht, doesn't have any intelligence as a consumer. Especially cannot be called a Star Wars fan either.

If his clone died in Jedi, then why didn't he just turn up and gank Luke at any point going forward, given that 'dad' Anakin isn't there to save him this time.
Awful.

If they pull this one out of the basket, a Sith Lord still alive and luke had no idea until he became part of the force, then that'll be a cracking Rian Johnston level of muppetry.

Think it's pretty obvious they are not in space at that point.

They are in space. :)

The point is since he is so powerful that
destroys the whole "resistance" fleet including the Falcon with just a force lighting and Kylo on top

and has all this huge fleet with millions of troops hidden for decades, why left the Empire collapse while his clone died?
Is fricking stupid and ridiculous. No wonder they had 4-6 endings and couldn't make their minds so just filmed a new one this month.

This film shows how bad it is, when they had to re-film it every time they showed it to test audience. And yet still, the test audience leaves the room half way through disgusted.

That shows no director & writers vision. No plan. Just a bunch of cloned scenes from the previous films, with big dose of SJW.

Other things that were refilmed were Solo (and ended up bad) with different directors, and so did the Justice League when the Snyder left for family reasons while the film was ready. Another director picked it up, refilmed more than 3/4 of the movie and what came out was pile of sht. That's why everyone wants the Snyder's cut of Justice League.

Have you watched the trailer? The Star Destroyers are in a planet's atmosphere, there's lightning storms going on around them. Plus one of them appears to be rising up out of the water, for all you know that's the one they're on.

Have you seen where it takes place? Miles ahead of the surface, higher than were airplane flight.
Let alone trying to charge with horses! If it was inside the planet atmosphere, the planet surface would be covering the horizon view, not been a halo at the edge.

Thats how ISS looks from 600km height, and the halo is similar to the movie. Last time checked, the astronauts need suits to walk out there or they will implode in mere seconds, with their water inside their body boiling

You do realise this is a movie? You're seeing literally a couple of seconds of a longer sequence, it's obvious the Star Destroyer they're on isn't in space or even remotely near it. If anything its the one coming up through the water\ice that they're most likely on. It's a planet in a star wars movie, what counts for real life doesn't have to apply in this as well. You may as well complain that Light sabre's aren't realistic or hyperdrive.

I thought it would be a good time to remind people the film isn't actually out yet. You know nothing about the plot or general story line. All you have seen is a few seconds of footage cut together in a random order to make a trailer of which some may not even be in the film like the previous two.

Literally all you know is who's in it and that there is likely to be some star destroyers.... at least keep your dummy in the pram until the end of December.

Threepio "I'm taking one last look... At my friends."

Your friends are all dead mate, and you've not even batted an LED. These people in front of you, you met them just a short while ago and they've largely ignored you for that time. There's only Artoo and Chewie left and they barely talk to you either. Face it, they're only being nice to you so you sacrifice yourself. Kill them Threepio, kill them all.

Regardless of whether they are in space or not the mounted charge is just cringe-worthy in the context and feels out of place. An idea that might sound great in someone's head but just doesn't work on screen.

I really wanted to have hope for this movie but I'm increasingly getting the feeling it is going to be laughably bad.

All the signs for this film are getting worse by the day. Let's face it, after the last jedi, it has nowhere to go anyway. Rey is just going to be some super cloned Mary Sue to explain how she basically woke up one day and became captain marvel. The force is female everyone

You talk about context, however you are referring to a short fee second clip in a trailer, from a scene that's in a movies still to be released. You don't know where, why or how the scene takes place.

There is no way to properly judge the context of said said. Wait till you have actually seen the movie.

At the end of the day you are talking about a movie set in a universe filled with giant space ships, aliens and people using an invisible force, which gives them powers.

So chill with the abuse shown towards the film and it's makers.

Are we conveniently forgetting the Gungan Vs droid battle in Episode 1?

Or those scenes in episode 2 and 3 where Anakin and Amidala and Obi-wan were on the back of that Rhino thing?

or Obi-wan travelled on the back of that Lizard creature?

Star-wars is full of crap moments.

So they bleat on about the cruelty to the space horses in the last film, now here they are riding them into battle, because that's so much nicer...
