As for hand position...depends how I'm driving, but generally between 10 & 2 and 9 & 3.

You dont need to stick to 10 and 2 to pass your test any more do you? As long as you can demostrate you are in control, I dont think it is an issue.

10-2 appears to be the standard you are taught now, however it was more the crossing arms that would get you dumped.
