Not sure if this is the right section for the question. Looking to support some staff in my School that want to live stream through Microsoft Teams to the class. Due to social distancing they have been unable to teach cooking but are hoping they can video themselves while streaming the content through a Microsoft Teams meeting.

Budget will be tight since it's a School but i'm thinking tripod setup with a decent wide angled camera? USB to their Laptop.

Any advice/thoughts/recommendations would be appreciated.

Define a tight budget?

On a very tight budget I think you are looking at a half decent webcam. Maybe the Logitech Logitech C920 or C922?

I know the newer Sony, Fuji, Canon and possibly Nikon and Panasonic mirrorless cameras can be used as a webcam via USB. Not all cameras can used as a webcam, check before you buy.

What about a mobile phone? Cameras on the back (not selfie) are usually pretty decent, and long as it is plugged in with strong wifi it should do pretty well.
