what dont you like about it? me and a friend picked it up when it went on sale, we are awful, both ultra bronze mega noobs but we have a blast and its still fun learning combos and strings, although my in game execution is down right laughable

It's over simplified and streamlined. Compared to previous SF games the difference between the characters has never been so small.

They all have the same setups, similar combos, similar ways of applying and escaping pressure, and extremely limited fringe styles such as the pressure, footsie and zoning archetypes.

If you enjoy it then that's great, but as a player who used to attend the big SFIV tournaments I stopped playing a few weeks after the scene moved over to SFV.

I don't even mind the extremely easy combos and strings in SFV, but the rest of the game needs to be interesting.
