I have a surface pro and wanted to connect it to my tv via hdmi (a bush lcd tv that came with the flat), but it doesn't detect any signal.
I have tried my old laptop using the same cable with the tv and it worked, and I have tried the surface on different TVs in Currys and that also worked.
Are there some hdmi devices that are just incompatible?
