I'm looking to upgrade my desktop for the first time in far too long, and was wondering if anyone had any thoughts? Budget of about £1000, give or take. I've been looking at the OC range and I wondered what folks thought of :
1) Liberator x6 @ 3.5ghz, Win 8, 16gb ram, 250gb Evo SSD, 1TB Barracuda, GTX 770 4gb - £978.91 OR
2) Commander FX8 @ 4.4ghz, spec as above - £1165.90 OR
3) Titan Bayonet i5 @ 3.8ghz, spec as above except graphics card is R9 3gb, and this one only has 8gb of ram - £933.91
Does anyone think there would be much performance difference between systems like this; am thinking mainly in terms of what I'd experience in Photoshop & Lightroom (having just subscribed to the Photoshop Adobe package so am keen to buy some hardware that will do the new software justice!). I'm a bit wary of only having 8gb of ram in the Bayonet system, and I'm leaning towards the Liberator if I'm honest, but I'm more than open to having my mind changed by you guys who are much more up to date with this stuff than me!
