Thinking about getting one of these on one of the new T-Mobile Flext plans. I was just wondering though how much T-Mobile brand their phones though and if anyone here has a W800i on T-Mobile could you please tell me how it has been branded please.
As far as I know SE have told the telco's that they are not allowed to put any kind of external branding on the already "branded" Walkman phones. I can't say how heavily branded T-Mobile's software is however.
Yes, thats what I want to know, I have yet to see a branded (externally) Walkman phone (Apart from Vodafone W900i) so I was just wondering how T-Mobile have branded the software for the phone.
As far as I know, nothing. Never seen any w800is with any kind of branding on them actually. I've got a w800i on T-Mobile, only way you can tell it's T-Mobile is it says T-Mobile when you start up the phone.
Thanks for that Haly, I don't mind it saying T-Mobile when it starts up. I just didn't want one with hideious (SP?) and crippled software much like vodafone do to most of their phones. I'll be ordering this later then and getting it tommorrow
