Well, the P4C800-E that I got off the MM doesn't work in Northwoods so I need a S478 mobo that will allow me to use a 2.53Ghz Northy, 1Gb TCCD, 9800 Pro and a 480W True-blue and allow me to clock the danglies off it :p

    Any ideas?

Strange. Intel 875P chipsetted boards should support 533/800FSB Northwoods out the box

Try and pick up any of the following boards:

    Abit IC7
    Asus P4P800 Series
    MSI 865P Neo 2 Series

^ All of the above are good in my opinion.

That board very definitely does support everything P4 except Willamette.

could of damaged the VRM's, using a prescot in that mobo would heat things up.
