Does anyone know if this memory works with AMD Ryzen 3950x + Msi X570 Godlike boards...

i tried looking on QVL lists and ocuks webpage for model info but even with the little model info i could see i couldnt see them on the QVL list

Dear god i hope this stuff works when the board comes or im screwed...

It'll work fine. Its Bdie so should play nicely with X570. You're unlikely to find a CPU that'll run higher than 3800mhz 1:1 with the IF though - so don't expect to drop it in at 4000mhz.

I have 4x 8GB sticks of these in an ASUS X570 TUF Gaming with a 3800X. I down clocked it to 3,800Mhz so it will run 1:1 with Infinity Fabric at 1,900Mhz (half RAM speed). If you run them at 4,000Mhz your adding latency by not running 1:1. My 3800X runs Infinity Fabric fine at 1,900Mhz, expect the 3950 should too.

i was looking to do this very thing - what timings did you get them to when you downclocked it?

I've tested both 1800/3600 vs 1000/4000 with my 3900x in a few 3d benchmarks and 1000/4000 performs slightly better.

I can confirm the latency is slightly worse in synthetic benchmarks but it doesn't seem to translate to any meaningful difference in actual use.

Then again I do start to see stability issues at 1800 and above so maybe my CPU is just crap.

if any of you guys have the aida64 tool can you run the tools/cache & memory benchmark and post your pictures im trying to see the fastest configuration

currently im running infinity fabric @1800 with memory @ 4000 with tight timings.

cheers
