    Hi all,

My new build's cpu and system temp is currently idling at around 43c. So given how warm it is at the moment and the high room ambient, would you say that the above temps are ok?

    My spes are as follows:
    Gigabyte GA MA-785GM-US2H
    Phenom II X2 555BE @3.6ghz all cores unlocked 3.9v
    4GB Corsair XMS2 DDR2
    Geforce 9600 GSO.

    Cheers

BTW My cooler is a Coolermaster Hyper 212+ seated with AS5

Ideally you need to run the cpu at full load with Prime and check full load temps.

54c is nothing to worry about. When it hits 70+ then start to worry

You need to run P95 Small FFTs for at least a hour, to get a better measure of your temps.
