Hi, overclocked my CO i7 chip to 3.8. just done a 15minute check with prime to see what temps i would get. do them temps seem good enough?. and would there be anything u would change ? Cheers
I dont use prime for testing but i get the same sort of temps @ 3.8ghz while stressing with linX. Thats a very low vcore your using.My c0 needs 1.32ish volts for that.
15 minutes is not a stability test. Nor will it hit the highest temperatures the system will see. Hopefully you know this. In crude terms, anything below 90 is 'ok', below 80 is good and below 70 very good. Bear in mind that temperature doesn't matter all that much, current draw/voltages are more important. Temperature just happens to be easy to measure.
Thanks for the replys. I'll do a 24hour test then. Should i up my volts then? or anything else ? would i notice a difference if i went from 3.8 to 4.0? Cheers
