i posted my opinion that it was a bad design for a website and got flamed for it. further more i notice you are targetting me, when others seem to be saying the exact same thing.
Well I don't have time to argue with everyone.

my point exactly.
If only you could put it across as succinctly.

Nobody here can deny that it is a visually impressive site and as with anything in life, first impressions count. Any piece of design/website/advert that makes you go 'wow' as soon as you see it means that it has you engaged and can therefore convey its message with an engaged viewer.

Take a look at any microsites for new cars, such as the Focus ST one mentioned earlier, they are visually impressive, makes you want to look at it more, it makes it seem like less of a chore than watching adverts, but thats basically what it still is.

As a company that specialises in this form of design, this website showcases that extremely well, so to say its pointless is well, wrong. ;) YES websites such as google or bbc news are well put together, succint and informative...but bugger me they're boring to look at.

I think hes enjoying the fact that everytime he posts something, you find some way of twisting it into something utterly stupid and try and use against him, I know I am.

"so you're saying you just don't like arguing with people who have got a better chance of winning."

How very playground.

not as "playground" as your attitude to anyone who isn't a proffesional designer.

Pretty much yes, you missed the point, I pointed out the point, you ignored it, thats what I flamed you for, ignorance.

it must be nice to live in Nimzicki-land, where facts mean nothing and you are always right. :)
