The A7ii for well under £1k is a steal. Park Camersa a grey import site?

Nope full legit UK dealer which is why they all qualify for Sony cashback as well. Bought my A7iii from them and a few sony lens and the cashback from Sony all tracked fine.

I would advise getting the A72, in Sony terms it is practically ancient. A used A73 can be had a few hundreds more.
More than a few hundred. Both Park cameras and mpb have offered me £1100 for my old a7iii. The fact you can get the a7ii with kit lens for £700 or body only for £600 makes it almost half price of a used a7iii

Wish i was in a Ramen Shop Counter
Really tempted by that A7Riii for £1599 but I shouldn't, I really shouldn't :p

That lost 50% new RRP value in 18months, insane.

I think Sony releases their new models way before the natural life cycle of the current model has run its course. The A7R3 is still a brilliant camera with a lot of features better/not found in the competitors.

Yeah that is one big bonus at how fast Sony releases new bodies and keeps selling all the old bodies for years at discounted prices. Not so good if you own one and are trying to sell it used.

But like you said the A7Riii is one very, very capable camera and still hardly beaten by anything else so for £1599 with a canon sigma adapter its a steal.

I'm on the hunt for a new camera, mainly landscape with close up pictures of my motorbike, around the house etc.

I'm really hung up on MP at the moment though, i want something that has high MP as i'd like to get some prints done for my new house, should have jumped on that A7R3 when i could get it for £1599 :(

Panasonic G9 (Body Only) being sold for £599 by Amazon, though the wait for delivery is 4th of Spetember through to 27th of September. https://www.amazon.co.uk/PANASONIC-...=panasonic+g9&qid=1566038258&s=gateway&sr=8-5

This is a bargain for the G9, I made a purchase I don't care about the wait, I was looking at the G90 or GX9 but the G9 at this price is a no brainier I have the Pana-Leica 12-60 which will pair nicely with this body. Keeping the GX80 as the smaller, street camera body. Will sell on my LX100 as it doesn't get used anymore.

I wouldn't have thought so, body only can be had for £859 in some places, it's the L version which is expensive as it comes with the Leica lens.

That G9 offer is now gone, surprised it was up for so long it's sent the G9 to the best seller for Mirror less on Amazon. We'll let you know if Amazon honour the sale at the price.
