Shame for big Nigel to be gone, I mean he loves tweed and drinking, what's there not to like?

The bigotry, xenophobia, shameless & vacuous scaremonger-politics, little Englander mentality?

He is enough of a worm of a politician to go back on that however and hang around, so you shouldn't start worrying yet.

They could have stood for a No vote without teaming up with the Tories.

You're going to have to define what "teaming up" means. They both campaigned for "No" and so they will always look aligned.

In fact, Labour were probably more vocal about it because it means more to them.
