Not too shabby at all.
What did you pay for it and which spec/colour?

Black ( 256GB 12GB RAM ), exchange rate worked out at £813 plus the 168.91 ( £156.91 tax and £12 processing ). So all in all £983.

If I could have gotten a Exynos locally for £850 odd then I might have went for that, reports of sharper camera processing, faster SOC and battery life didn't concern me really. As long as the battery lasts more than a day I'm happy. However looking round, even on fleabay new ones going for £950-£1000. So thought might as well go for the import, best case scenario no tax, worst case it would hit just over a grand.

I take it you have done some research on the Snapdragon device?
Does it work an all the UK networks & on all the 3,4,5G bands.?
Cheers.

Yeah, stated on the listing. Think I'm covered okay.

Code:
4G bands LTE band B1 (2100), B2 (1900), B3 (1800), B4 (1700/2100AWS), B5 (850), B7 (2600), B8 (900), B12 (700), B13 (700), B18 (800), B19 (800), B20 (800), B25 (1900), B26 (850), B28 (700)
TDD B34 (2010), B38 (2600), B39 (1900), B40 (2300), B41 (2500)
5G bands Bands N1(2100), N78(3500), N79(4500)

I'm on O2, however no chance I'll get 5G around here for a long time. 4G in my local town is so oversubscribed you get better bandwidth on 3G.

Code:
O2 5G NR Band n78 LTE bands 20, 1, 3, 8, 40 2100MHz, 900MHz 900MHz

I hope it works out for you, I am not having any kind of issues with the Exynos version just now and battery seems fine but given a choice obviously I would go with the snapdragon. Interestingly there are Snapdragon users and Exynos users complaining of bad battery life this time around but it really is down to phone setup, usage and network coverage.

Did you find a good glass protector?

The amFilm Tempered Glass Screen Protector has decent reviews, at leasr on par with the Whitestone Dome. Only problem is its ony available in the US. But even with importing it in for £50 its cheaper than the Dome and there's 2 in the pack. Need to find out if its compatible with my case.

FedEx delivered mine this afternoon, it's a Hong Kong version, official UK plug and clear case in the box. 4G works fine , can't test 5G as it's not rolled out in my area.

Not wowed by the design, it's quite boring but that's the design language the Note series uses so I can't have a go at them really. It's a joy to use though, love the large screen and always loved using the S Pen. Quite happily browse forums using the pen all day :)

So as good as the Fold 2 looks I think I made the right choice on the Note.

What did you pay for it and did you have to pay any import taxes? Also; do you have a link please?

So got my S20 delivered today but didn't realise you can't add additional users like Pixel and OnePlus. That's something I use everyday :(

Don't you just add another account and just click on which you want to use? I have two on my S10 personal and work

You can create the secure folder and add a completely seperate account with seperate apps in there, perhaps not so convenient as its a chinese wall security model.

Only available on Samsung tablets not on their phones

from reddit S20 forum "I did find one workaround, search for secure folder in your settings. You can create a secure folder to have apps that login to different accounts. Dual Messenger is another option for social media if you need to login to multiple accounts.... still not the same but it helps"
