last car was Volvo S60 25k new with options, paid 10k with 18k on the clock and just under 2 years old

I can beat that:

52 2003 Volvo S60 T5 SE + Extras ~£29,000

Three years later and 29k on the clock I paid £9,999, so that's depreciation of £6,333 a year!

Meh,not as good as mine tbh my vovlo had depreciated 7.5k per year.

Its odd really for such good cars they depreciate like a vauxhall.

My '99 Elise 111s was £29 500 new and I bought it 5 years, 4 months and 25 000 miles later for £14 000. 18 months and 20 000 miles later it's worth around £11 500.

My Volvo S40 T4 SE was just under £24k new, I got it at just over 3.5 years old with 70K on the clock and paid £3450 from the car auction.

The Audi we bought new and paid £26700 for it on 1st March, dont know what its worth now but it will be several thousand less.

how quick do you reckon the price will depreciate based on that? its still going well...
