I'm sorry Sequoia but your original post in this thread was obviously a 'showing off' post - yet you say you don't like being accused of showing off. 'Oh, I only buy NEW cars.' Well la-bloody-da! Get your head out of your bum. You're too old to be prowling forums trying to make geeks jealous - so stop.

I wonder if Jensen Button's first driving licence was before the days of DVLA .... seeing as how he wasn't born for a decade or two after that? :D

And no.
I read your post as if you were someone famous that's all :)

That's totally uncalled for and rather undermining the whole "everyone in motors are mates" thing don't you think?

Nissan Primera GT

Cost when new = £18,050
5 years old, 85k later = £2,000

There are the modifications to add on too, but i didn't pay for them (as such) and doubt i'd make any extra money on the car cause of them.

Meh,not as good as mine tbh my vovlo had depreciated 7.5k per year.

Well I think I may beat most when it comes to the depreciation front. Feel sorry for the poor bloke who bought my CL500 new with options for £63,400.

Five year's later I picked it up for a bargain £16,500 meaning a depreciation of £9,380 per year.

Interesting how a lot of the cheap stuff is the stuff that holds its value quite well.

Although you were not miffed to buy a 5 year old car only that was only 15k new? You could have one that was loads more expensive :p
