Moved to BT 20GB for £20pm with £60 cashbook effective monthly cost is £15pm. I actually get 4g signal now rather than the 5% 4g on three lol.

Have you tried tethering with BT?

Probably not allowed "the official way" but works fine with VPN app on the phone then start tethering.

I think 3's Feel At Home service more than sets them apart from the rest.

Off topic but I'm in one of the 'Feel at home' countries now, and can't get a signal anywhere even with data roaming on. Actually last time on holiday the same thing happened. Anyone know why?

It certainly is. I got back from Spain recently, and I got a text from Three saying I'd saved £2300 odd in roaming charges.

IIRC you have to enable roaming in the three control panel (which you access by logging into your account on the three website).

are there any contracts that are sim only that allow unlimited data and tethering or good data usage like 10GB and tethering a external device?

I cant seem to find anything reasonable, all the unlimited data do not include tethering.
There is EE 20GB but that is £50+ on contract.

Mobile phone contracts have become ridiculously bad value for money and the companies rarely offer any good deal
to remain with them even if you have been a customer for 7+ years.
