Ordered a 2080 but changed it for a 2080 ti when the initial impressions came out showing that even the ti is currently struggling to deliver 60fps at 1080p with raytracing in tomb raider. I run 3440x1440 so I'm hoping that it can deliver a playable experience with raytracing once they've sorted the optimisation.

1080p to 3440x1440 all in the space of a few months and only optimization? That's a big hope. Sounds more like waiting another gen or so to me.
