There's literally video footage of someone loading it onto the removal van. He just cannot not be dishonest.

She won’t as she’s proven herself to be as much a scumbag as he is. It’s true what they say that a morally reprehensible person will always attract the same sort of people.
I just hope that if she does divorce him or he does there is no sympathy for her. She’s as a big an enabler as he is.

This^. People can't criticise naive Trump disciples for not fact checking and taking BS as gospel without investigating things properly if they then go and accept any snippet of information to support their anti-Trump view without applying that same rigour.

Agreed, however we had a president question injecting bleach, and everything else over the last 4/5 years. Satire no longer can be created about Trump as he is himself satire of a president.

It's hard not to instantly believe this stuff when trump has shown you time and time again that you shouldn't question it as it always ends up true.

I have been caught out a few times because I didn't check a story out first and believed it because it is just another crazy trump story.

Even if they are uncomfortable (like when there is some actual proof of voter fraud about Dems - shudder), we need to be diligent in the truth.

just because the track record fits doesn't mean every new event/derogatory comment is factually accurate. We still have to check, even if it takes not much time to conclude one way or the other. Of course, once something has been checked, checked again, tested in courts of law, upheld by congress, etc then no more checking is reasonable and it's ok to bat away/uphold such suggestions with the derision/endorsement they deserve respectively.

It seems a really really poor way of handling something that is being returned to a museum, and I suspect there will be curators from other museums sweating and swearing about it.

You don't tend to carry a museum piece like you do a cheap IKEA pot, you tend to either move them on a dolly, or crate them up, ideally both because crating it up both protects it, and makes it easier to transport. Carrying them as shown in the picture is one small slip away from damaging or destroying it, and most curators and museums have had far too much painful experience of stuff being damaged or lost due to poor handling.

I wonder if the White House collection's curator was aware of how it was handled, or if there is still such a person any more (we know Trump dumped the WH archivists who were meant to collect and save documents because he preferred to tear them up).
IIRC they have someone specifically to monitor the collection, and it's handling partly because in the past stuff did go missing, or get damaged.

My question is less about the handling and more did the museum mark the items with that black light paint to make sure they got the originals back.

More winning and wrongdoing for the Trump family. DC AG going after Trump jr and their company for hiking up prices to self profit in the last inauguration. ***Not LARPing***
