We're looking for 1st and 2nd line service desk guys in Manchester City Centre, busy MSP, good work to life balance, no mandatory OT, shifts between 7:30-8PM and on-call for 2nd line. Great place to work, lots of socials, beer fridge every Friday. Get involved in loads of different technology from VMWare, Cisco Networking, Microsoft, Azure etc. 2nd line salary up to 27k which admittedly isn't the best.

Quite a few jobs going at Red Hat currently, a lot of which are remote (the odd graduate role too).

Well paid, great culture and nice office atmosphere. Would recommend my department as well (pm me for info on that).

The following link is remote, but be sure to check out locations in Farnborough, Newcastle & London too.

Hiring for several positions here in Germany. Preferably experienced gameplay programmers at all levels, but would consider solid C++ programmers that are interested in getting into the industry.

Wish this was in the Northeast UK.

Sorry dude - on the other hand, we're recruiting for a 2nd line service desk person now - up to 27-28k for the right person. VMWare / Networking / Servers / Common Sense required etc. Growing company, social, flexible etc the usual sales - i'm not getting anything out of suggesting it as i'm just an inf eng there looking after our clouds, but it is a fantastic place.

I am in search of a Java engineer with additional Javascript skills.

This is to help the checkout team of a major on-line retailer based in London. The role could be up to 50/50 using java/javascript(react). The role is a contract position - 12 months and there is a bit of flexible working available. It's a very good role for someone. Java backend is on the spring framework and this will also be using rest based api's. I have a full description - trust me for more info.

Also if this isn't quite up your street, but you do freelance in the UK / Tech scene, please reach out and I will see if I can help.

Red Hat UK are still recruiting heavily, and with offices in Farnborough, London and Newcastle, and the opportunity to work remote, we've got plenty to offer :)

You don't have to be super IT literate to work here; there are plenty of people that work here that don't even know how to use a computer!

Farnborough: https://careers-redhat.icims.com/jobs/search?ss=1&searchLocation=13702--Farnborough
London: https://careers-redhat.icims.com/jobs/search?ss=1&searchLocation=13702--London
Newcastle: https://careers-redhat.icims.com/jobs/search?ss=1&searchLocation=13702--Newcastle
Remote: https://careers-redhat.icims.com/jobs/search?ss=1&searchLocation=13702--Remote

If you need CV writing help or have any questions, drop me a message/trust, and I can give you a hand :)

We've got a position on my team for an IT application support specialist for Leica Biosystems, the market leader in histology and neuropathology equipment. The role involves around 70% national travel with some rather tasty international stuff too!

We need someone with the following skillset:

- Knows what mirth is and how to use it
- can read and interpret HL7 messaging
- ideally a scientist with a tertiary IT qualification or an IT person with a biology qualification

Role would suit someone who's fed up of the 9-5 grind in the lab and likes technology and wants to drastically reduce the cancer diagnosis waiting times for patients. If anyone is interested in knowing more about it let me know on here or PM!

ps, our yearly kick off meeting this year was a week in Monte Carlo, all expenses paid

pss, if you're in the south of the UK you'll get some serious browny points

I've got another one of these positions available and the job hasn't gone live yet so plenty of time to prepare!

  • Do you have an IT background?
  • Do you have great attention to detail?
  • Are you looking to live and work abroad?
  • Would you be willing to learn a new language in the long term?
  • Does CSI Miami interest you (without the women or the cars, but we do have the weather)?
We have an opening for 2-4 new permanent employees at the company that I work for in Switzerland, in the domain of IT forensics and eDiscovery.

We have struggled to get suitable local talent so we are extending our search to Europe. British candidates are ideal as the Swiss government will reserve work permits for British employees in the event of hard Brexit, and you already speak English to a native level.

Ideally your skills should include a number of the following hard and soft skills, the more you have the better:
  • Above all, have a sharp mind and keen attention to detail
  • Have irreproachable ethics
  • Pride yourself in client satisfaction, work quality and efficiency
  • Be organised and thorough
  • Solution and goal oriented
  • Either speak or be willing to commit to learning German, French or Italian
  • Comfortable working with teams of different disciplines: Legal, IT, finance
  • Client interaction skills: Informing of delays, resolving conflicts, explaining technical concepts to non-technical people, collaborating on solutions
  • Knowledge of the eDiscovery, IT Forensics and Data Analytics fields
  • Excellent general knowledge of IT: File types, file headers, hashing, networks, email infrastructure, archiving, desktops, mobile devices, servers, storage, etc.
  • Programming or scripting knowledge: Ruby, Java, SQL, Python, Powershell, VBS, etc.
  • Knowledge of standard forensic tools: Nuix, Relativity, FTK Imager
  • Able to work both collaboratively within a team, and individually with little oversight
Experience:
  • Either some experience in a related field or an appropriate degree (Computer Science, Mathematics, Physics, Traditional Forensics etc.)
  • The available openings range from fresh graduate/inexperienced up to highly experienced/approaching management
  • The company is willing to train junior staff who have the right mindset and drive to progress
Location, choice of:
  • Zurich, Switzerland
  • Lausanne, Switzerland
Send me a Trust message for more details.
