Thermal Compound

    Is the thermal compound that comes with a big typhoon ok to use or should I use the Arctic Silver 5 that I have?

    I would remove the thermal compaund and apply as5. I doubt you will see much difference though if you cant be bothered.

    going from intel heatpads to silve compound has made a mind blowing change to mine :)

    I agree, changing from Intel's heatpad to AS5 gave me 10c difference in load temps :o

    No idea about the stuff that comes with the Typhoon however, but if you have AS5 available, you may as well use it!
