well i'm expecting this in the post later this week or early next week.....

    gecube agp x800gto 128mb - linky

but i can't find any reviews online. this card has 128mb ddr1 memory as opposed to 256mb ddr3 found on most gtos. it's still 256bit and the card has 12 pipes so i'm hoping it will still match a 6600gt. any thoughts people? :)

It should surpass 6600gt performance although not by a massive margin. (loosing out in opengl based games).

Its a good card for the money though.

pretty similar tbh. SM3 games will be better on the 6600GT.

X800GTO is a bit faster than the 6600GT

Not in SM3.0. Only in Directx9b games.

well so long as it compares to a 6600gt i'll be happy. paid 75 for it as new condition on the MM. hopefully it will be here soon. :)

over the last few months i had been contemplating getting a 7800gs but i just don't play games enough to warrant that sort of outlay. :p
