I have a 2016 build. Its time to upgrade. Ill be buying an RTX 3080 when they are out, and I have a Fractal Node case, so I thnk I need a bigger case. Can someone please help with other parts Ill need. I think Id like an intel i7 10700 from what I have read, but my budget is anything really, I just want to use common sense rather than pay money for no reason. Are i9's worth it? Parts I have/which I know will need upgrading/will probably be incompatible:

Core upgrades objectives:
  • Intel Core i7 Quad-Core i7-6700 3.4GHz Processor CPU (Id like to upgrade this to whatever makes sense)
  • SI NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 GAMING X 6 GB GDDR5 Memory Pci Express 3.0 Graphics Card - Black (will be buying the RTX 3080 on Sep 17th)

Parts I assume will have to upgrade also (but would keep if they were compatible):
  • Corsair SF Series SF450 SFF 450 W Fully Modular 80 Plus Gold Power Supply Unit
  • Noctua NH-L9i - processor cooler
  • 16GB (2x8GB) Corsair DDR4 Vengeance LPX Black, PC4-17000 (2133)
  • Fractal Design Node 202 (I would go with the Fractal R7 if needed for RTX 3080 size)

Parts I presume I can keep:
  • 2 X Noctua NF-F12 PWM - computer cooling components (Computer case, Fan, 120 x 120 x 25 mm, 4-pin PWM)
  • 500GB Samsung 960 Evo
  • Monitor
  • Keyboard
  • Mouse

Hopefully someone can help.
