Hi, I'm trying to decide whether I should upgrade my current PC or build a new one.

I'm no expert on this kind of thing so would really appreciate someone's advice. I mostly use my PC for gaming.

At the moment I have -

AMD Athlon(tm) 64 X2 Dual core processor 4800+

2 gigs of ram

BFG NVIDIA GeForce 7900 GTX

160 gig hard drive (I'm sure this will do for now)

Should I upgrade this setup? If so what would you recommend with a budget of around £350.

Or should I just build a new system, with a budget of ~£800? Again recommendations would be great.

Thanks.

you could upgrade by gettiing a new graphics card and you'd see a good improvement. You'll probably want to upgrade your cpu/mb in the not too distant future but you could always take a graphics card over to that new system whenever you decide to build it. It's really up to you when that is though.
